The members of CISO and the African Student Association together are putting out an international cookbook.  We need your help by you submitting recipes to us to include in this what I am sure will be a famous cookbook someday.  We are hoping to donate part of the proceeds from the sale of the books to the International Student Hope Foundation, a new non-profit organization being established to help international students all over the U.S. when they are faced with unexpected financial burdens or problems.

OK it is really annoying that school resumed two weeks ago and I’m having exams already.

Most annoying is that I have friends that don’t.

Well this week the University of South Alabama will make history with its first ever Football(American Football) game on Saturday and the introduction of our first marching band.  What excitement this is generating throughout the campus.

Hi evryone,

I hope you all are enjoyin your hols just like I am?? Ok I got done with the summer school and the results were great. I left South and went back home all the way to Africa  and it soo much fun. Things haven’t really changed that much around here, but I’m having a blast and I intend to enjoy it while it lasts. Intl student orientation is just around the corner and I can only imagine how busy all the offices are right now(especially the Intl office). Hall check in for new students is on the 15th of August and if you intend to cancel your dorm reservation you have 14th as the last day to do so. Registration is open from 14 through the 16th.I will be back so soon and it hurts already…

We have finally come to the end of the summer semester. This is the final week and of course exam week.

I sincerely hope that all the work we put in this semester paid of very well. I wish everyone good luck on their final exams.

As the Summer classes come to an end it only makes me realize how much closer the Fall semester is to starting.  The campus is buzzing with the usual excitement as we try to prepare for a new group of students to become a part of our U.S.A. family.

The Summer term is almost over and we are preparing to greet all of the new students that will be arriving in August.  This is a busy time of year for us but also an exciting time.

The new Allied Health and Nursing building is finished and open for business. The state of the art Student Recreational Center is coming along nicely as is the Bell Tower.  The campus is flourishing and becoming an even greater place for our students.
